Luther B Smoove Provides Wisdom, Juice
The recent arrival of shoe
designer and self described “World’s Foremost Master of Love” Luther B.
Smoove has caused quite a stir among Phuket’s residents, particularly
the female population. Smoove, whose seduction style is remarkeable for
elaborate planning, meticulous attention to detail and propensity
towards juice, sat down with Phuket Magazine for a brief interview
between wooings.
Phuket Magazine:
Thanks for being with us Mr
Smoove.
Luther B. Smoove:
The pleasure is, for once, all
mine. And please, call me Smoove.
PM:
Okay Smoove. So, tell me, how
do you like Phuket?
LBS:
Phuket is indeed beautiful. If
Phuket were a woman I would admire her mountains, the silky softness of
her beaches and the interesting shape of her coastline. Were she a
living, breathing female instead of a small landmass I would shower upon
her the finest clothing, the most refined wines and the tastiest
low-sugar desserts. I would also serve juice.
PM:
What’s with you and the juice?
LBS:
I’m sorry, which one of us was
the world’s foremost master of love? Do not question Smoove’s methods.
PM:
Whoa, whoa. I didn’t mean anything by it.
LBS:
No, no, I’m sorry. Smoove is a
little jet-lagged.
PM: No problem. So do you have anything you’d like to say to the ladies
out there?
LBS:
Yes I do. Ladies of
Phuket,
I want you to know that
each and every one of you is
the only girl for me. You are
all unique and special and it is the
unique
and special qualitites that you and only all of you
possess that make Smoove tick. My every waking moment is
spent visualizing your
lips, eyes or hair. I live to craft elaborate dates tailored to your
special tastes. All of you. Yeah.
You can behold the freshness of
Luther B. Smoove’s words in his
guide to rainy day romance in the upcoming issue of Phuket Magazine.

The 7th Annual
International Phuket Beer Fest was held at the Watermark Bar Restaurant

bottles or cans of their favourite beer. The contestants then sat down
to do some very solemn judging and imbibing.
Each beer was judged based on label presentation, smell and taste and
once the dust had cleared it was Fursty Ferret from the UK that took the
top prize.
The event was widely considered to be a success and the Watermark has
announced plans to hold the 8th Annual Phuket Beer Fest in 2007.
